Magellan Meridian Platinum GPS receiver is a portable or handheld GPS navigator. To use this device on the road, Magellan’s MapSend software must be purchased. Magellan’s MapSend software includes MapSend Streets Europe and MapSend Topo for the United States.

Features of Magellan Meridian Platinum GPS navigator are 12-channel GPS unit with 16 MB base map, barometer, 3-axis digital compass, built-in database of U.S. cities, interstates, major roads, and airports, Secure Digital memory-card slot for expanded storage, waterproof, oversize gray-scale screen with backlight, and weights 2 lbs.
